Francisco Linares has passed his Diploma in counselling this month and he is now a qualified counsellor.

Unfortunately our only counsellor advertised here has retired and Francisco Linares is the only counsellor advertised here. Although he is still a trainee counsellor, he has already surpassed the 100 hours required for qualifying as a counsellor and has done a good job in numerous difficult cases.

I would like to wish you all a happy new year and thank for the support our members have given over the past year. Infocentral website has been nearly one year online offering information on counselling and its practises. Further improvements to the website will follow so please check regularly.

Infocentral shall offer information about the Gibraltar Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapists (GACP) soon. Information that we shall receive will be imparted by Mrs Audrey Borastero who is the chairperson of the association. Information offered will be about its constitution, membership regulations and its goals, so please do check regularly for updates.

Due to a power surge caused by continued and prolonged lightning storms during the early hours in Gibraltar, it has disabled some of the critical network hardware needed to host infocentral and subsequently the website has been offline for more than 12 hours. The necessary parts have been replaced and the website is back online.

Infocentral is being redesigned and implemented in the graphics design of the website.

A new therapist home is implemented for current therapist who are in the directory. It is now possible to make alterations to your profile. The therapist home is accessible on any page in the website and the link is located on the top right hand corner of the screen.

CBT links and mental health conditions are expained in the InfraPsych website and is added in the counselling techniques page under cognitive behavioural counselling heading. The InfraPsych website is included under external links. The cardiff university website has been removed from our list of links.
